People sell homes for a myriad of reasons; growing families, investments, property upgrades or lifestyle changes. When it's time to sell a home that's been in your family for decades, the decision is not a simple one. You don't want or need someone representing your family who is only there for their benefit. You want to be represented by someone with passion, determination and most importantly, compassion. We were so blessed to have found all that and MORE with Damian Sgro. Working with Damian made a very emotional process easier to manage and accept. His in-depth knowledge and his leadership combined with his professionalism, compassion, respectful manner, friendly approach, honesty and prompt service are simply unparalleled and unmatched. Damian's drive and hustle were obvious from our very first meeting about the property. His determination was evident before the listing was his. He was confident, yet compassionate (as our reasons to have to sell were sad). He was eager but respectful. Most importantly, he was honest and friendly. He came prepared with information regarding current and previous home sales in the area and answered all our questions with accuracy and a smile. Once Damian was hired as the agent, he marketed the property immediately (literally the SAME day) and his creative thinking expanded his marketing plan to well beyond industry standards. He posted the property on platforms we didn't know existed! Damian immediately invested an exceptional amount of time in making sure this property could be seen by any and everyone. He promised immediate open houses and that very SAME weekend the doors were open and buyers and investors visited the property with great interest. He made sure the neighboring streets had signs regarding the open house and that continued to generate interest. During the open houses, Damian was very welcoming and respectively engaged with prospective clients, honestly and openly showing the property and all while taking exceptional care of the property. He ensured the house presented well and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure anyone who walked through the front doors felt at home. He arrived at the house well before the open house began and literally swept, tidied up and made sure everything was perfect. He also stayed well after to ensure everything was cleaned up. Not only was the amount of traffic generated at the open houses commendable but the work he put into everything he did was just as exemplary. Damian communicated with us daily with detailed updates about the property; how many showings there were that day, how many people he spoke to regarding the property and how he continued to develop his marketing plan. This dedication took time each and every day, but it was time he was graciously willing to spend with us. Selling this home was not an easy decision to initially make but knowing we had Damian in our corner made the process very easy. Working with Damian and his level of expertise combined with his professionalism and compassion was fantastic. You simply cannot teach the qualities Damian exhibits. He is genuine and sincere. The sale of our family home was more than a transaction to us (& to Damian!) There truly was a relationship built with him. A relationship that we know will continue to grow. A relationship that anyone looking to buy or sell needs to experience. A relationship we are truly, truly grateful for!
